Last year during quarantaine times photographer Leonie van der Helm portrayed citizens from Leiden through their window. At that time most of them were already more than a month at home. Museum De Lakenhal bought ten of these lockdown portraits including mine. On show starting today till the end of November 2021.

Winner NRC Photo Competition
My photo “JAN” won the vakjuryprijs (professional jury prize) of the NRC Photo Competition. The professional jury consisted of: Wilfried de Jong, Sacha de Boer, Natalia Toret and Ilvy Njiokiktjien.
